The International Consortium on Global Climate (ICGC) is a day long event organised in association with the UNAI@8 celebrations on 19th of November 2018 at TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, Kerala. We are organising various programmes such as
panel discussion, poster designing, quizzes and debates.
All competitions are based on SDG 13 - Global Climate and SDG 15 - Life on Land. There will be keynote lectures from various dignitaries, including T.P. Sreenivasan, Mr. Sasi Tharoor
MP and other diplomats.
The underlying aim of the event is akin with that of the United Nations Academic Impact, that is to raise awareness about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, in this case specifically the SDGs 13 and 15.
The event further aims
to provide an international platform for students to exhibit their unique creativity, talents and skills. We also intend to draw international attention towards and to explore and understand sustainable solutions towards the 2018 Kerala Floods.
In conformity with the UNAI ASPIRE programme, we aim to provide sustainable and innovative solutions, possible through education to real life problems, in this case, the Kerala floods.
